PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable magnetic shields provided on the inner surface of the tank of a core type three-phase transformer to be lessened in number so as to reduce the three-phase transformer in weight and cost. SOLUTION: A magnetic shield mounted on the inner surface of a tank confronting a coil is constituted in a manner in which magnetic steel plates each cut into a rectangular shape are laminated into shield blocks, and the shield blocks are arranged in parallel on the inner surface of the tank. The shield blocks arranged on the inner surface of the tank, confronting a central phase coil are set smaller in arrangement density than those arranged confronting edge phase coils.
