MICROSTRIP RING BAND PASS WAVE FILTER HAVING INTERDIGITAL SIDE FACE COUPLING AND FABRICATING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A microstrip ring band pass wave filter having an interdigital side face coupling and a fabricating method thereof are provided to improve an insertion loss and a reflection loss in a resonance mode by employing a flat type of an interdigital capacitor coupling structure. CONSTITUTION: An input line(2) receives a microwave and a ring resonator(1) generates a resonance of the microwave through the input line(2). An output line(3) outputs the microwave resonated from the ring resonator(1). A current on the input line(2) and a current on the output line(3) are fed to the ring resonator(1) with a phase difference of 90°. An interdigital capacitor(9) is formed on a coupling portion between the input and output lines(2,3) and the ring resonator(1). A local resonance portion is composed within the ring resonator(1).
