PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a lid for a container, capable of being tightly fixed to an opening of the container and being fitted onto and removed from the opening of the container with a suitable power. SOLUTION: The lid for a container has; an otter peripheral edge whose diameter is expanded and which is formed to have a stepped portion throughout the entire peripheral edge of the lid for the container; protruding stripes for fixing, which are peripherally provided on an inner face of the outer peripheral edge along its lower end with a plurality of discontinuous portions; and reinforcing ribs which are provided between an upper face of the stepped portion positioned on the upper side of the discontinuous portions of the protruding stripes for fixing and a peripheral edge face. This lid for the container is most suitable as a lid for a dehumidifier. |
