<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of changing a single-face machine into a double-face machine without giving a change to a machine front portion to which an operator is allowed access. SOLUTION: The image forming device, wherein a transfer sheet 17a supplied from a feed cassette 17 located under a device body is fed through a front frame 8 of the device body to a transfer roller 14 and the transfer sheet 17a on which an image is transferred by the transfer roller 14 is fixed by a fixing device 80 and discharged from a pair of discharge rollers 81a, 81b located above the device body to the outside, comprises carrying passages 45, 51, 61 via which the transfer sheet 17a passing through the fixing device 80 is transferred again from the back of the device body through the lower side to the transfer roller 14 for transferring the image on the other face of the transfer sheet 17a, a discharging portion 40, a carrying portion 50 and a reversing portion 50 constituting the these carrying passages, a reversing roller 63 for reversing the transfer sheet before carried to the transfer roller 14 again, and a switching pawl 41 for switching the transfer sheet 17a, on the single face of which the image is transferred, to be discharged or refed.</p> |
