The invention relates to a screw driver used as a usual screw driver or as a crosshead screw driver. According to the invention, the screw driver comprises a handle (1) integral with an outer rod (2). The outer rod (2) is provided with a cutting (a) wherein an inner rod (7) slides, said inner rod being provided with a profiled head (b) and two orifices (c and d). An elastic plate (4) integral with a drawing member (5) and with a bolt (10) is attached to the outer rod (2). The bolt (10) can be driven into the first orifice (c) to obtain the simple screw driver, or into the second orifice (d) to obtain the crosshead screw driver.
