PURPOSE: A contamination judgement method for a vehicle exterior part by a gas sensor is provided to automatically change a reference value for determining a contamination degree according to a product or the environment, thereby improving the reliability of the contamination judgement. CONSTITUTION: A contamination judgement method for a vehicle exterior part by a gas sensor includes the steps of obtaining a voltage change amount according to the change of a contamination degree by a first time interval by receiving atmospheric air continuously, classifying the voltage change amount by size and obtaining a frequency thereof for a second time period, determining a reference number with a certain class value or a number obtained by adding or deducting a certain number to or from the class value, and judging that the vehicle exterior part is contaminated when the input voltage change amount exceeds the reference value and repeating the above routine after a third time period.
