PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve work performance by making it possible to correctly secure both of an element and an adsorption member for adsorbing fuel vapor for facilitating the securing of the adsorption member without backlash in particular only by securing the element in the housing of an air cleaner and facilitate separatation of the housing from the adsorption member in recycling the air cleaner. SOLUTION: This air cleaner comprises the filter element 30 for filtering intake air and the adsorption member 28 for adsorbing fuel vapor secured in the housing 10. Near the position where the element 30 is secured in the housing 10, a locking section 22 for temporarily assembling the adsorption member 28 and a seat section 26 capable of receiving the adsorption member 28 on the side opposite to the locking section 22 are formed. The element 30 or the adsorption member 28 is provided with a pressing member 34 (or pressing section 29) for holding the adsorption member 28 pressed against the seat section 26 when the element 30 is secured in the housing 10.
