PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traction frame which can be easily attached to/detached from a hull of a motorboat for traction of water skis even when the size or form of the hull is changed, and which can be easily installed ahead of the gravity center of the hull. SOLUTION: This frame for a traction rope for water skis comprises a pair of a right and a left side frame bodies 4 of which lower leg parts 15, 17 are fixed to boat sides 3 by fixing means 14, 16, and a lock part 22 provided roughly at a center part of an upper frame body 6 for connecting the side frame bodies 4 to each other for hooking a traction rope 20, and the side frame bodies 4 are connected to be slidable along the width of the hull on the upper frame body 6. The leg part 15, 17 is provided with a bearing metal fitting pivotally attached at a lower end of the leg part 15, 17, a tightening member pivotally attached in the middle of the leg part 15, 17 in which a hook metal fitting at a lower end is extended under the bearing metal fitting, and an adjusting member vertically movable along the tightening member to fix it in an adjusted state, where the bearing metal fitting and the hook metal fitting hold a flange of the boat side from above and under.
