PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a high image stability by a method wherein the spreading of ink to a non-image part by pressure is effectively prevented from developing. SOLUTION: In the recording layer 12 of a recording body 10, projections 12a having a height of 15 μm, for example, is provided so as to serve as a hindrance against the adhesion between the recording body 10 and an intermediate transferring body 20 or between the recording body 10 and a recording medium (not indicated). Concretely, the pressure between the recording body 10 and the intermediate transferring body 20 (or the recording medium) is reduced, resulting in allowing to prevent the spread of ink to the non-image part by the pressure from developing. The thickness of ink applied on the recording body 10 is ordinarily several μm and at the same time, since the intermediate transferring body 20 or the recording medium is somewhat elastic, no poor transfer of images due to the projections 12 can develop. The projections may well be provided on the intermediate transferring body side. Further, by employing a porous material or an elastic body material as the recording body or the intermediate transferring body, the same effect as mentioned above can be obtained. |
