PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manhole of an earthquake resistant structure having the earthquake resistant structure at a coupling part between a circumferential wall and a water passage pipe body. SOLUTION: A groove part 6a as a flow passage is provided in an upper surface of invert concrete 6 installed on a bottom part, the water passage pipe body 4 is movably connected to the circumferential Wall 3a through a flexible joint 7 to be continuously disposed with the groove part 6a of the invert concrete, and a shock absorbing member 8 is interposed between the invert concrete 6 and a pipe body end surface.
