<p>The prosthesis , consisting of a titanium, titanium alloy or ceramic pillar and a titanium or gold screw for fixing it to a maxillary bone implant, has the outer surfaces of the pillar and screw head shaped to fit against the inner surfaces of the prosthetic crown or bridge to prevent it rotating. The initial volume of the screw head and pillar are greater than that required to fill the crown or bridge and are cut to the required dimensions by the practician.</p> |
