PURPOSE: A composite type humidifier is provided to achieve an improved sanitation by completely sterilizing the water discharged into the indoor area, while allowing the water at the vapor state to be diffused through a wide range of indoor area. CONSTITUTION: A humidifier comprises a water reservoir(5) disposed within a humidifier body(2) and which stores water fed through a feed pipe(4) from a water tank(3); an ultrasonic oscillator(7) disposed beneath the water reservoir; a nozzle case(8) for guiding the water which is atomized by the ultrasonic oscillator; a blower(9) communicated to the nozzle case, and which compulsorily discharges the atomized water to outside; a discharge unit(10) mounted onto the nozzle case, and which adjust the discharge direction of the atomized water; a stepped section formed at the upper inner periphery of the nozzle case; an evaporator(20) fixed at the upper surface of the stepped section, and which heats and evaporates the water atomized by the ultrasonic oscillator; and a screen(11) arranged at the upper end of the evaporator so as to protect the evaporator.
