The ultrasound converter has at least one piezo-electric oscillation producer (34,35) clamped between two clamping bodies (20,21) of a clamping unit (23), by which they are at least partly enclosed. The clamping unit comprises a clamping casing. At least one of the clamping bodies (20) has a through passage for positioning of an electrical feed conduit. The oscillation producer is formed as a ring disk (34,35) and the electrical feed conduit is electrically connected with one of the surfaces of the ring disk.
