Water in oil emulsion contains at least one silicone emulsion consisting of polyalkyl polyether siloxane with polyoxyethylene and polyoxypropylene chains grafted onto principal chain; and at least one long chain polyoxyalkylene glycol acid ester polymer which has emulsifying properties. Also claimed are use of said emulsion in cosmetic and dermatological preparations; and anti-UV treatment for skin and/or hair which involves application of said emulsion.
