摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal device which realizes a small installation space of the region for laying of wiring. SOLUTION: A laid wire 16a on a substrate 11 connected to a transparent electrode 16 consisting of a transparent conductive oxide has two-layer structure of the electrode material layer 16a1 consisting of the same material as the transparent electrode 16, and a low electrical resistance materials layer 16a2 consisting of a material with resistance lower than the transparent electrode 16. It is desirable that the line width of at least a portion of a laid wire 16a is 10μm or less. It is desirable to set identically the film thickness of an electrode material layer 16a1 of the laid wire 16a and the film thickness of the transparent electrode 16, and to set nearly identically the film thickness of the low electrical resistance materials layer 16a2 and the film thickness of the transparent electrode 17. In an area for laying of wiring 31b (31a), it is still more desirable not to form a transparent electrode 17 on a counter substrate 12. Besides, it is desirable to dispose a spacer 13 at both a display region 30 and the region 31b (31a) for laying of wiring.
