PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the emitting amount of an exhaust gas from a stoker type incinerator, completely burn unburned gas or the like by stirring and mixing wastes while keeping a combustion chamber constantly in an optimal condition irrespective of the kinds, properties or the like of the wastes, and suppress emission of NOx or the like. SOLUTION: A stoker type incinerator 1 is provided with a stoker 4, a primary combustion chamber 7 and a secondary combustion chamber 8. The ratio of supply rate of primary combustion air A1 which is supplied from beneath the stoker 4 to that of a primary air is rendered to be 1.2 or less. A combustion gas G' which is present at the downstream side of the stoker 4 and above a stoker 4c is drawn out of the incinerator in order to render the combustion chamber 7 to have a reducing atmosphere so that the gas G' is not allowed to flow above the upstream side of the stoker 4. The drawn gas G' is blown to the combustion chamber which is located upstream of a position where secondary combustion air A2 is blown, followed by stirring and mixing in the combustion chamber. Thus, the inside of the combustion chamber which is located upstream of the position where the combustion air A2 is blown, is rendered to be an atmosphere in which a composition distribution and temperature of a combustion gas G are uniformed. Thereafter, the combustion air A2 is blown to the combustion chamber 8 so as to render the total air ratio to be around 1.3, and thus the unburned gas and unburned substances are burned completely. |
