PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning device for an electrophotographic device which cleans toners adhering to a cleaning member periodically and automatically by a cleaning part movable in the axial direction of a roller in the state of contacting with the cleaning member, in a cleaning device for an electrophotographic device provided with a spiral cleaning member on the outer periphery of a roller which removes toners remaining on the surface of a photoreceptor by rotating the roller. SOLUTION: Because a cleaning material 44 set fixedly to an internal cylinder case 43 is held freely turnably to an external case 41, the cleaning material 44 rotates along the spiral shape of a cleaning blade 21 arranged peripherally on a cleaning roller 13 according to the linear movement of a roller cleaning part 40 in the outer peripheral part of the cleaning roller 13. Thus, the toners adhering to the cleaning blade 21 are scraped by a slit 50 provided on the cleaning material 44.
