<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a classifying method using an electroformed screen for classifying a powder without the clogging of the screen and the agglomeration of particles and also provide particles classified by the method and also its use. SOLUTION: A dispersed body formed of a raw material powder dispersed into a liquid medium is passed through a classifying device with the electroformed screen to classify the raw material powder into particles of desired particle size range, and (1) the user classification is carried out by using the electroformed screen with the screen mesh diameter smaller than either of the average particle diameter of subject particles or (Nw-σw), (2) the upper classification is carried out by using the electroformed screen with the screen mesh diameter larger than either the average particle diameter of subject particles or (Nw-2σw), (3) a support or supports are provided on one face of both faces of the electroformed screen, and 1000/H3<=X<=25000/(5HH3) is satisfied when the screen mesh diameter of the electroformed screen is defined as H3 (μm), and the number of wires is defined as X(LPI) and the support or supports are provided on one face or both faces of the screen.</p> |
