PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data receiving device which increases the transmission speed, without producing erroneous detection even if it receives data which includes data whose '0' continues over a long time, such as image data. SOLUTION: A sampling and holding circuit 514 is provided, which can selectively output a threshold signal 5132 outputted from an ATC circuit 513 to a comparator 515 as it is as a threshold signal 5141 according to a hold signal 556 or output it after holding its voltage. The voltage of the threshold signal 5141 is held by the sampling and holding circuit 514, immediately before the end of reception of synchronizing signal where '1' and '0' are repeated alternately. Then the voltage of the threshold signal 5141 is made constant, when effective data is received after synchronizing data. The comparator 515 compares the voltage of an input signal 5131 with the voltage of the threshold signal 5141 and reproduces a digital signal from the input signal 5131, on the basis of the comparison result. |
