PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel snow guard hardware with extremely excellent practicality, which is not only simple in structure and allows a snow guard angle to be sidewise inserted and installed therein as in a conventional manner, but also includes a cover body which is disengageably arranged over the angle and allowed to once recede from an upper portion through which the angle is arranged, whereby the cover body rigidly engages with the snow guard plate with one-touch operation of pressing the cover body form above after arrangement of the angle, the snow guard plate being rigidly lockable with one-touch operation by arranging the angle sidewise or from above even after installation of the snow guard plate on a roof. SOLUTION: The snow guard hardware has an attached-to-roof portion 2 formed at one end of a plate-like substrate 1 and an angle engaging portion 4 for engaging with the snow guard angle 3, formed at the other end of the same. According to the snow guard hardware, the angle engaging portion 4 is formed as follows. The substrate 1 includes a mounting portion 5 for mounting the snow guard angle 3 thereon, and the plate-like cover body 6 for covering the snow guard angle 3 mounted on the mounting portion 5 from above is provided such that an engaged end side functions as a supporting point and the other end side is capable of rise and fall. Further, by pressing the other rise/fall end side in a laying direction from above, the cover body 6 rigidly engages with the substrate 1 and rigidly assumes a position of covering the snow guard angle 3.
