PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain eddy current in a heat shielding plate or to lessen an eddy current in intensity even if it occurs when a superconductive coil gets quenched and to protect a heat shielding plate against damage even if an eddy current is locally induced in it. SOLUTION: The superconductive coil of a superconductive magnet device is enveloped in a heat shielding plate 8, and a slit 11 (11a and 11b) is made in the heat shielding plate 8, by which the heat shielding plate is protected against damage caused by an eddy current when the superconductive coil gets quenched. Furthermore, the part of the heat shielding plate 8 in which the slit 11 is cut is reinforced by a reinforcing plate 12 (12a and 12b) which is small in electric conductivity and high in rigidity, so that the heat shielding plate 8 can be protected against damage. |
