PURPOSE: An in-molding coating method and machine are provided to automate the entire process and to print pictures on an irregular surface by coating a synthetic resin film having the printed pictures directly to an injection-molded material by injection-molding the product after adsorbing the film having the printed pictures to the inside of the mold in a vacuum state. CONSTITUTION: A time belt(10) is moved downward when a servo motor(8) rotates a pulley(13) at a specific rotational angle. A film clamp(7) fixed to the time belt is moved to a proper position of a first mold(12) together with a film(1). The film is fixed to the sectional area of the first mold, and the film clamp is moved upward from a film fixing frame(11). The film is sheared by heat from a hot wire. The film is heated by a hot plate(16) moved downward to the rear of the film fixing frame. The indoor air in the mold is exhausted through an exhaust hole of the first mold when a vacuum pump(14) is driven. The inside of the first mold becomes vacuum, and the film is adsorbed to the inside of the first mold. The hot plate is moved upward, and a second mold(17) is assembled to the first mold with the film fixing frame therebetween. The mold is filled with injection-molding liquid to coat the film in the mold with performing the injection-molding process. Finally, an injection-molding material is separated from the mold.
