PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a board working apparatus wherein appropriate member fitting is performed even for plural circuit patterns. SOLUTION: Related to a work instruction data 22 and a process program used with a board working apparatus 11, a target mark is arranged for sorting pattern machine types according to form and surface level of a circuit pattern and for discriminating the sorted pattern machine types. A controller 23 which controls position, operation, and the like of a member attaching head 17 is provided with a pattern machine-type sensing function which detects/ discriminates the target mark attached to a circuit board 13 and senses a pattern machine-type formed on the circuit board 13, and a work position correcting function which corrects the movement amount of the member attaching head 17 relative to the circuit board 13 according to the pattern machine-type sensed with the pattern machine-type sensing function.
