PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rationally constitute a liquid crystal display device which performs a satisfactory display operation, by controlling the temperature of liquid crystal of a liquid crystal display part with high accuracy. SOLUTION: This display device is provided with a dummy resistor 7, provided in series with a feeder supplying electric power to an electric heater 3 for heating the liquid crystal display part, and also with a control part 4 for controlling electric power to the heater 3 based on the measured result of a temperature sensor 9 for measuring the temperature of the resistor 7.
