PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state image pick-up device which can prevent reduction of a dynamic range and reduction of a transfer efficiency of signal charge on a vertical charge transfer path. SOLUTION: Upon supply of a reading pulse twice with timing shifted during one charge reading period, another drive signal goes low when the first-supplied reading pulse goes high, whereas, yet another drive signal goes high when the first-supplied reading pulse goes low.
