PURPOSE: Disclosed are an apparatus for measuring a concentration of a development solution and a method for supplying the development solution capable of preventing a toner from being precipitated by improving a structure for supplying the development solution toward a roller and of restraining a foam from being generated. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for measuring a concentration of a development solution comprises a housing(50); a tank(53) for receiving the development solution through a supplying tube(51), the tank(53) being installed in the housing(50); a roller(60) being rotatably installed in the housing(50) in a state that a surface thereof is located close to an upper end of one wall in the tank(53), the roller(60) forming a development solution film on the surface thereof by pushing up a part of the development solution; a power source(70) for rotating the roller(60); and a sensing means(80) for sensing a quantity of light passing through the development solution film by illuminating the light on the development solution film and receiving the light passing through the development solution film.
