<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use a PC as the transferring device of FAX equipment in one's absence. SOLUTION: This facsimile communication system is provided with facsimile equipment (FAX equipment) 1 and 1a connected to a public network 3 including an Internet and a personal computer(PC) 2 connected to the public network 3 which is fixedly used by the user of the FAX equipment 1 and whose electronic mail (E-mail) address is preliminarily registered in the FAX equipment 1. In this facsimile communication system, when the FAX equipment 1 is set in an automatic answering mode, received FAX picture data to the FAX equipment 1 are converted into a picture data format available by the PC 2 so as to be transferred to the PC 2 as an E-mail.</p> |
