PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing device of a liquid crystal display cell in which production yield is not decrease for liquid crystal display cells of different sizes by controlling the increased or reduced pressure to the optimum state and high working efficiency is obtained for the positioning of the liquid crystal display cell and a spacer sheet. SOLUTION: The device is equipped with a pressurizing jig 2 to hold a plurality of liquid crystal display cells 1 in a stacked state after a liquid crystal is injected, and with a sealing means for a liquid crystal injection port to seal the liquid crystal injection port 13 while pressure is added or reduced through a plurality of pressurizing support points to the cell 1 held by the pressurizing jig 2. The sealing means for a liquid crystal injection port is equipped with a pressurizing unit 3 to fix the pressurizing jig 2 and to add of reduce pressure through a plurality of support points in the stacking direction of the liquid crystal cell 1, with a wiping unit 5 to wipe off the excess liquid crystal bleeding out from the liquid crystal injection port 13 of the liquid crystal display cell 1 during pressurizing, with a coating unit 6 to apply a UV-curing sealing agent on the liquid crystal injection port 13 of the liquid crystal display cell 1, and with a UV irradiating unit 7 to irradiate the UV-curing sealing agent with UV rays to harden. |
