PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rectifier of an AC generator for vehicle which enables the size reduction of the generator main part as a result of the reduction in axial dimension required by the excessive population of auxiliary apparatuses and the like in an engine room. SOLUTION: High level side rectifier elements 5a and low level side rectifier elements are arranged so as to face each other and the ends of the anodes of the high level side rectifier elements 5a are extended to a suction inlet. The interval between a (+) side radiation fin 1 and a (-) side radiation fin, therefore, can be reduced. Moreover, as the ends of the anodes of the high level side rectifier elements 5a are extended to the suction inlet, the size of a generator main part can be reduced further while the interference between the anodes of the high level side rectifier elements 5a and a frame 2 is avoided. With this constitution, a rectifier of an AC generator for vehicle, which enables the size reduction of the generator main part as a result of the reduction in axial dimension required by the excessive population of auxiliary apparatuses and the like in an engine room, can be provided. |
