PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint cover device for a wall surface which can prevent a turntable joint cover from being protruded largely forward even when right and left buildings are oscillated by an earthquake, etc., to narrow a joint and efficiently prevent the turntable joint cover from flapping or generating noise by a strong wind, etc. SOLUTION: The joint cover device for the wall surface comprises a pair of movable pieces which are turnably fitted in the horizontal direction to a pair of fixed pieces to a wall surface on the joint side of the right and left buildings, an expandable center maintaining mechanism with both ends thereof pivotally supported by the pair of movable pieces, a supporting piece pivotably supported by a center pivotably supporting portion on a front side of the center maintaining mechanism, the right and left screen-type turntable joint covers with a rear end thereof turnably fitted to the pair of movable pieces to cover the joint and a substantially center portion protruded forward when the joint is narrowed by an earthquake, etc., and a pair of free end urging pieces to urge a free end of the right and left turntable joint covers so as to touch the supporting piece.
