PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simplified body surface contamination monitor of a separation system which can be easily transported and installed for detecting and measuring radioactive contamination of body surfaces of persons to be measured in nuclear facilities, etc. SOLUTION: In this body surface contamination monitor, two detectors 3 and 4 having detection faces 5 and 6 of a size capable of covering the body of the person to be measured from one face are set to hold the person between the detection faces 5 and 6 to measure radioactive contamination of the body surface of the person. Each of the detectors 3 and 4 is formed to be separated at a middle part in a heightwise direction. The detectors are carried to a measurement spot in a state while separated, and assembled and set to be used there.
