METHOD FOR PRODUCING OPTICAL RECORDING MEDIUM

PURPOSE: A producing method for an optical recording medium is provided to form a contrast enhancing layer without using a separating layer, and to simultaneously perform eliminating operation of the contrast enhancing layer with a developing operation. CONSTITUTION: A photo resist layer is formed on a substrate. A contrast enhancing layer is formed on the photo resist layer for reducing size of a laser beam spot. A pit pattern is formed through recording a signal on the contrast enhancing layer by using a laser beam. A contrast enhancing layer is eliminated from the photo resist layer. Moreover, the photo resist layer is developed before forming the pit pattern. Then, a stamper is formed through plating a photo resist disk. A disk is produced in an injection molding method by using the stamper. A reflecting layer is formed on the disk to form a protect layer.
