<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the aperture ratio and the transmissivity in an in-plane switching mode liquid crystal display device. SOLUTION: This display device includes a transparent insulated substrate 20, gate and data bus lines 22, 26 which are arranged by intersecting each other, a common electrode line 21 which is parallel with the gate bus line 22 and which has one pair of light shielding parts 21a, a thin film transistor which is arranged in the vicinity of the intersection of the gate and data bus lines, a transparent electric conductor counter electrode 24 which is arranged at a pixel area between light shielding parts 21a of the common electrode line 21 and which is constituted of plural pieces of branches 24a and a bar 24b which is connected to the common electrode line 21 while being connected to one ends of the branches 24a and a transparent electric conductor pixel electrode 28 which is constituted of one pair of first electrode parts 28a which are arranged overlapping the light shielding parts of the common electrode line 21, a second electrode part 28b which is arranged among the branches of the counter electrode 24 and a third electrode part 28c which is connected to one ends of the first and second electrode parts and is connected to one end of the thin film transistor.</p> |
