<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain both a modified polyvinyl acetal resin capable of providing an ink composition friendly to the environment, or the like, by improving water resistance without impairing excellent characteristics such as pigment dispersibility, adhesiveness, flexibility, of polyvinyl acetal resins and the ink composition. SOLUTION: This modified polyvinyl acetal resin is characterized in that a polyvinyl acetal resin containing a partially remaining hydroxyl group is reacted with an aromatic epoxy compound.</p> |
