PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical element reduced in optical appearance inferiority and enhanced in mass productivity. SOLUTION: An fθlens portion having an optical surface is formed to an optical element and a second optical part having a light effective part 12a is formed to one end of the optical element and a gate 13 is provided to the other end thereof. Since the second optical part 12 is molded asymmetrically up and down with respect to its optical axis and a weld line W is generated leftward, the generation probability of the weld line in the up and down width of 3.2 mm of the light effective part 12a of the second optical part 12 is 0% and no effect is exerted on optical performance.
