PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital still camera using a DC motor as the driving source of a variable power lens and a calibration device calibrating the arrangement of the lens. SOLUTION: This digital still camera 10 is equipped with a photographing lens part 22 including the variable power lens 122 and a focus lens 126, a zoom driving part 42 driving the lens 122, a zoom driving instruction part 230 giving a driving instruction to the driving part 42, a focus driving part 44 driving the lens 126, a focus driving instruction part 240 giving a driving instruction to the driving part 44, an arrangement condition storage part 220 for storing a lens arrangement condition on which the focusing position of the lens 126 is set, and an arrangement condition decision part 300 deciding the lens arrangement condition.
