PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luminous material for pet enable to automatically and semi-permanently emit light only by a oscillation caused by the movement of pet without exchanging battery, etc., and emitting sufficiently intense light recognizable by the owner, automobile, bicycle, etc., even during the walk at night, etc. SOLUTION: The luminous material for pet is e.g. a collar to be put on the neck of a pet or an accessory to be attached to the collar. A light-emitting part is attached to the body of the luminous material for pet and the body contains a secondary battery supplying electric power to the light-emitting part and a piezoelectric generator connected to the battery. The piezoelectric generator is a laminar piezoelectric ceramic plate produced by laminating a pair of piezoelectric ceramic plates directing the polarization directions opposite to each other. Electric power is generated by knocking one or both faces of the piezoelectric ceramic plate with a knocking member placed in the piezoelectric generator. |
