PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the loss time in an inspection due to a cycle game replace ment waiting time in a ball-shooting game machine wherein a cycle replacement waiting time is provided until a cycle replacement condition is achieved during a special game and a cycle game is started. SOLUTION: In a special game which is started when a game ball reaches a special region during an initial open/closure state (2) or during a special prize start receiving state (3), the game proceeds to a special winning open/ closure state (5) via a special winning start waiting state (4), and when a winning ball which has entered a variable winning apparatus is detected during a predetermined period in a special continuing waiting state (7), into which the game moves by winning in a special region during a special winning continuing receiving state (6) during the special winning open/closure state (5) or after completion of the special winning open/closure state (6), these are counted by means of a preliminary counting means, and in the special winning open/closure state (first cycle game) (5) subsequent to the special winning continuing waiting state (6), the count value is added to the judgement of 10 counts.
