PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate such operations as paper jam clearing by forming a paper feed path from a paper tray disposed, built in the body formed with a recording part of an image forming apparatus so that it can be opened in synchronization with a door member attached to the side part. SOLUTION: The paper feeding part of the image forming apparatus, disposed with a paper feeding unit 100 with which a paper tray 60 is combined, takes out a paper sheet by a pickup roller and delivers it to an image forming part through the paper path 105. The part where the paper path 105 is merged with a delivering path formed at a paper feeder at the lower part is formed so as to be opened by opening a cover 33a attached to the side part of the body of the device; it is thus possible to facilitate opening and closing of paper path in such a case that paper jamming occurs inside the paper path.
