PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature sensor and contact-typ temperature detector, capable of extactly measuring the temperature of measuring object without extracting heat from the measuring object. SOLUTION: A temperature-measuring element 3, having temperature sensors 3a and 3b, is embedded in a resin part 4 and on the resin part 4 surface, a temperature sensor S locally exposing a metal heat conduction plate 3a, an outer cylinder 2 containing the resin rear end part of the temperature sensor S movably in the axial direction, and a compression coil spring 5 energizing a slide part 4b contained in the outer cylinder 2 and thrusting the sensing parts 3a and 3b of the temperature sensor S from the outer cylinder front end.
