<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas treatment equipment capable of highly and economically removing dioxins, and the like, from an exhaust gas in a melting furnace for melting scraps. SOLUTION: This exhaust gas treatment equipment is characterized by comprising a flue 2 through which the exhaust gas exhausted from the melting furnace 1 for melting scraps, a coarse grain dust separation equipment 3 using a scrap packed layer for collecting coarse grain dust in the exhaust gas installed at the midway of the flue 2 or a cyclone, a heat exchanger 4 which indirectly cools the exhaust gas from which the coarse grain dust is removed and a filtration type dust collector 5 which separates finely divided particles from the cooled exhaust gas by the heat exchanger 4.</p> |
