METHOD FOR QUANTITATIVELY REMOVING PHENOL FROM CRUDE WOOD VINEGAR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for promoting the quantitative and quick removal of phenol from crude wood vinegar. SOLUTION: Powdery papain enzyme is mixed into crude wood vinegar and the mixture is subjected to agitation and slight shock for a prescribed period. The treated crude wood vinegar is treated with finely crushed charcoal.
