PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a body fat gauge capable of accurately measuring a body fat rate. SOLUTION: An impressing electrode 3 and a measuring electrode 4 are arranged so that the impressing electrode 3 contacts with a fingertip bulb part and the measuring electrode 4 contacts with a palm inner surface part in a stick part 2 to constitute an electrode part. A distance between the impressing electrode 3 and the measuring electrode 4 is decided by a distance between the fingertip bulb part and the palm inner surface part so that the distance becomes a distance sufficient for an electric current impressed from the fingertip bulb part by the impressing electrode 3 to become a uniform flow by diffusing in a position of the measuring electrode 4. Thus, organismic impedance can be accurately measured to thereby accurately measure the body fat rate. A contact part can be formed as a thumb bulb part and a palm inner surface part or a fingertip side palm inner surface part and a wrist side palm inner surface part, and can be gripper by hand or the hand can be placed. The electrode part can be arranged in an armrest part. |
