The invention concerns a method for purifying an aqueous hydrogen peroxide solution by passing the solution on a cationic resin. The method consists in passing the solution on the cationic resin in conditions wherein said hydrogen peroxide solution is maintained at a temperature ranging between its congelation temperature and +10 DEG C, advantageously ranging between 0 DEG C and +5 DEG C, so as to limit the contamination of the solution by sulphate ions.
