PURPOSE: A system for duplicating an ICDA(IF and Clock Distributor board Assembly) in a base station system is provided to increase the stabilization of a system by duplicating an ICDA and to achieve clock stabilization by receiving base station reference clocks from a GPS through a master ICDA and distributing the clocks to a slave ICDA. CONSTITUTION: A master ICDA(230) is composed of a clock generation part(231) and a clock distribution part(232). The clock generation part(231) generates system clocks(sys_clk, 200Hz, 50Hz, 1PP2S) synchronized with a clock(10MHz, 1PPS) received from a GPS. The clock distribution part(232) distributes the clocks generated from the clock generation part(231) to an MUMA(Multi-User Modulator board Assembly)(300) and MMDAs(Multi-Mode Demodulator board Assemblies)(410-480) installed in its own STS(Sector Transceiver Shelf). Each slave ICDA(230',230") contains a clock distribution part(232',232") that distributes the clocks generated from the clock generation part(231) to an MUMA(300',300") and MMDAs(410'-480',410"-480") installed in its own STS. Also the master ICDA(230) is provided with 3 clock supply lines(610-630) to supplies the clocks generated from the clock generation part(231) to the clock distribution parts(232,232',232").
