PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the work for washing and to prevent the trouble of a washing and sterilizing device for a contact lens. SOLUTION: This washing and sterilizing device has a main body section 10 which has a case 11, a supporting pipe 12 for washing having a contact terminal, a supporting pipe 13 for sterilization formed with a see-through hole 13a at its base surface and a sterilizing means, a washing container 20 which is freely attachably and detachably disposed at the supporting pipe 12 for washing and has a metallic pipe 21, a casing 22, a contact terminal and an ultrasonic vibrator transducer 21a, a sterilizing container 30 which is freely attachably and detachably disposed at the supporting pipe 13 for sterilization and a cap 40 which has a holder 41 for the contact lens for holding the contact lens 42. The washing container 20 or the sterilizing container 30 may be separated from the main body section 10.
