PURPOSE: Provided are cryogenic method and device for producing enriched air which use a cryogenic air-separating plant and operate with an improved efficiency compared with a existing method and device. CONSTITUTION: The method for producing enriched air comprises the steps of (i) passing feed air(2) into a multistage compressor(102), compressing the feed air in the multistage compressor to produce a compressed feed air, and providing the first portion of the compressed feed air into cryogenic air-separating plant(120), (ii) separating the compressed feed air within the cryogenic air-separating plant(120) by cryogenic rectification to obtain oxygen fluid, (iii) passing the oxygen fluid from the cryogenic air-separating plant into multistage compressor(102), and mixing the oxygen fluid with the second portion of the compressed feed air to produce enriched oxygen within the multistage compressor, and (iv) further compressing the enriched air within multistage compressor(102), and recovering the further compressed enriched air from the multistage compressor(102).
