<p>PURPOSE: A nonpolluting method for treating dust of stainless steelmaking is provided to more simply and inexpensively treat the dust of stainless steelmaking containing nocuous constituents without pollution by directly injecting the dust generated in a stainless steelmaking plant into slag during electric furnace process, thereby skipping forming, smelting and reducing processes. CONSTITUTION: In a nonpolluting method for treating dust of stainless steelmaking, the method is characterized in that not only making of slag is facilitated by directly spray injecting dust of stainless steelmaking comprising chromium oxide (Cr2O3) into molten slag of an electric furnace using a powder carbon injector, thereby smelting the dust of stainless steelmaking, but also the dust of steelmaking is mixed with the powder carbon before being injected into the electric furnace so as to reduce chromium oxide (Cr2O3) in the dust of stainless steelmaking.</p> |
