PURPOSE: A thermal fatigue break life estimating device according to a sound emission method and a method thereof are provided to precisely measure an initial crack generation time point and a microscopic crack generation time point together with a plastic strain generation time point causing a change of a sectional area. CONSTITUTION: A thermal fatigue break life estimating device according to a sound emission method includes stainless rods(3) welded to upper and lower grip parts of a piece(2) to test, stainless plates(4) welded with the stainless rods, probes(5) connected to the stainless plates with inverse L-shaped magnets(6) attached with springs(7), and HPFs(High Pass Filters;8) and LPFs(Low Pass Filters;9) respectively positioned between the probes and a measuring equipment(10) for checking plastic strain and checking a time point when a real crack is generated, wherein the measuring equipment has a S/N ratio higher than 30 decibel and detects plastic strain generation signals and crack generation signals of the HPFs and the LPFs.
