PURPOSE: A movable contact roll apparatus is provided which minimizes vibration under each operating conditions by effectively applying to various operating conditions based on the theoretical base that presents clear reasons for generation of vibration and explains the vibration phenomena. CONSTITUTION: The movable contact roll apparatus for reducing vibration of hot dip coated steel sheet (1) comprises a driving motor (6), a pinion (7) rotationally driven by the driving motor (6), a rack (8) installed by being in gear with the pinion (7), a contact roll (10) connected and supported to one side of the rack (8) through a connecting part (9), wherein the contact roll (10) is automatically moved to a position in which resonance of a plated steel sheet (1) is minimized.
